Options

All of our products are available in a variety of glass options.  We purchase from the exact same primary glass producers found in North America such as Guardian, Cardinal, PPG, LOF and AFG.  The difference is that we follow the European norm of using 4 mm glass which is not produced in North America.  It is about 30% thicker than the single-strength and double-strength glass commonly found in residential windows in North America.  We temper our own glass on our own furnaces and also offer laminated glass when sound is a concern.  We also offer Sentry Glass Plus for impact applications.

We offer virtually any low-e glass available in the U.S.  For warm-edge applications, we use stainless steel spacers.  All of our insulating glass is dual-sealed.  For those market segments where thermal efficiency is of utmost importance, we offer triple-glazed insulating glass.

We use only the highest quality hardware which we import from the U.S. and Europe.  For coastal applications, we use anti-corrosive hardware and polyurethane paint designed specifically to resist long-term exposure to salt air.

Insulating Glass:

The insulating glass found in our residential windows is the same type used for commercial windows. All of our insulating glass uses conventional aluminum or stainless steel spacer and all of it is dual-sealed using PIB as the primary seal and polysulfide for the secondary seal. Glasstech is IGCC certified.
